Operation Tackle 22
Therapeutic fishing, vocational mentorship, and a real path forward for veterans.
Operation Tackle 22 helps our nation’s heroes reconnect with purpose through offshore fishing experiences, hands-on marine mentorship, and vocational development designed to support healing, confidence, and long-term opportunity. This direction fits the current program’s focus on therapeutic fishing, leadership development, and marine training.
More Than a Fishing Trip
Operation Tackle 22 supports our nation’s heroes in reconnecting with purpose through a comprehensive program that offers a full-tuition scholarship to a Coast Guard–approved captain’s school. Participants gain hands-on fishing experience with seasoned captains who have completed the program, along with marine mentorship and vocational development designed to promote healing, confidence, and a smooth reintegration into a marine career after service. This unique initiative also trains mentors to guide each enrolled hero toward becoming a future leader and liaison within our organization. See full details below.
