You are cordially invited to the inaugural ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening of Fishing for Mission 22’s new vocational marine and behavioral resource center, located at 47 Main St., Buzzards Bay, MA 02532.

We are thrilled to open our doors for an open house from 11:00 am to 11:45 am. This will be immediately followed by the ribbon-cutting event, hosted by the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce from 11:45 am to 12:00 pm. Prepare for an unforgettable ceremony, highlighted by a United States Coast Guard flyover and a stirring rendition of the national anthem by renowned Off-Broadway singer and actress Debra Toscano.

Following the ribbon-cutting, an exclusive fundraising reception will be held at Mahoney’s on Main, conveniently located next door. Esteemed guests for this invite-only event include actor/comedian Lenny Clarke, TV host/producer Wayne Soares, CBS-Boston sportscaster Steve Burton, and retired Generals Mike Hickey, Don Quenneville, and Anthony Schiavi of the Air National Guard and USAF. Our ambitious aim is to raise $50,000 to sustain our resource center’s operations and to finance our vocational captain school initiative, Operation Tackle 22, which is now aiding veterans across four states.

This meaningful event is an opportunity to witness firsthand the significant impact we aim to have on the lives of veterans, active-duty members, first responders, and their families. Our center is dedicated to providing comfort, vocational guidance, enriching fishing experiences, and behavioral health services to those who have given so much for our nation. Your support is the cornerstone of our foundation’s strength.

Join us in a day of joy, appreciation, and shared dedication to honoring our nation’s heroes!
